Call to action - Respond to the WBTNI Draft Terms of Reference Now !

As you may or may not know the Western Brisbane Transport Network Investigation (WBTNI) is calling for comments on their Draft Terms of Reference. They also include several other avenues of involvement as well. The deadline for comment is the 31st July, 2007, so less than two weeks to respond. We have included our proposed response below for reference.

The WBBAG would like to stress to all members of the affected communities the importance of voicing your concerns and opinions with respect to this investigation. The WBBAG would recommend the following actions by all members and concerned parties.

  1. Fill in the "Have your say" form that was delivered with the WBTNI Newsletter.

If you have lost or misplaced your copy of the newsletter or would like something that is easy to print and fill in, you can use this snippet from the newsletter.

Just print it and fill it in. WBBAG recommends that everyone interested ticks the box to receive regular updates. The rest of the form should be filled in however you feel is appropriate, though the more people who are signed up for community liason the better.

The completed form should be posted to:

    Spring Hill Q 4004

well before the 31st of July 2007. No stamp is required if posted within Australia.

  2. Respond to the online Western Brisbane Transport Network Investigation - Terms of reference survey.

This survey doesn't allow you many freedoms to comment, but it is relatively anonymous, though no doubt it may use cookies or computer addresses to flag multiple submissions. Due to this we would recommend that you do not submit the survey more than once per location (ie., home, work etc).

  3. Respond in writing to the Draft Terms of Reference.

The WBBAG has been busy working on a response to the WBTNI Draft terms of reference. We have put our proposed response up so that people may use it as a reference or source of ideas if they wish to respond.

You should send your feedback on the Draft Terms of Reference to:
