Get Involved

There are many ways you can get involved. Most importantly we are open to suggestions on how you would like to be involved. Please let us know your ideas or things you would be happy to help with by sending us a message on our Contact Page. Anything you can do to help is appreciated and no matter what level your involvement is, it all counts. Below is a short list of ways you can start doing something today.

Talk to People

One of the best things you can do today is to talk to your neighbours and other people in your community. Discuss the issues, refer to our site and in general raise awareness of what the government is considering and the importance for all residents to be informed and vigilant.

Become a Member

When you join up your membership fees go directly to helping raise awareness, lobby political groups and supporting everything we can do to be as up to date as possible on all Western Brisbane Bypass issues. Some of the key activities helped by membership funding to date are:

  • A trip to Canberra to meet with the Commonwealth Roads Minister Jim Lloyd.
  • A stand at the Brookfield show with short informational WBBAG flyers.
  • A letter box drop of WBBAG flyers within Western Brisbane suburbs.
  • Setup an maintenance of our Website.

Ask Main Roads

If you have checked everything you can find or just want to hear what main roads has to say then by all means call their hot-line for the Western Brisbane Transport Network Investigation on 1800 636 896, or email them at wbtni@mainroads.qld.gov.au. If you learn something from this that we have missed please pass it on so that all can benefit.

Report New Information

While we do our best to stay on top of everything relating to the Western Brisbane Bypass, we are bound to miss, or have already missed something. If you find some new information, something that we have overlooked, or even other particularly relevant topics, let us know using our Contact Page. All we ask is that the information be available to the public, and that we can reference the source.
